Us being silly

Well as many of you know I am a total Fanta fan. I mean the stuff in the states can't hold a candle to the European stuff. Its going to be one of those things I miss when we don't live here anymore.

Well we went to the pizza place we always go to and they had a different flavor (which we will never try again!), so of course we had to try it and we got an Italian beet to try as well. The beer was much better than the soda, but we took silly pics with our new finds.

Italian pizza is different and has a different taste and they put lots of crazy stuff on them like shrimp, tuna fish, hot dogs, potatoes, and french fries (which I'm totally tryin this weekend). So think of what you want to try when you come and visit and we'll definitely get it put on a pizza for you when you visit us!

My silly man!

Me pretending to chug the beer! I did have a sip, but anyone who knows me knows I don't really drink anymore. Maybe a glass of wine every now and then.

Other than being silly in our own home we haven't been up too much. Italy is beautiful but we do live here and its home for now. We are trying to plan a trip for Valentine's day. I think we may have lunch at Juliet's castle and have a wine tasting! Wouldn't that be like the coolest thing ever?!?! Don't worry I'll take pics and post them!!

Ok so from our house we can see this little town on the mountain side and we've been wanting to go there but we just couldn't figure out how to reach it. We asked around and no one could tell us what road to take to get to it. We couldn't even really see a road from this side that led to it. We did try to find it one day and we didn't find it (or so we thought).

It turns out the road we started up and had turned around on was the road that led to this little town called Mezzemonte. We were in his little POS so we probably wouldn't have made it all the way up anyhow but this time we were in my little car!

So we found our way up there finally and of course I took pics to commemorate the trip.

Us happy that we finally found the place!

Their church and town center.

New Years Eve

We didn't do anything exciting at all! Except we went and got Jerry his 42" HDTV, so to him it was big thing! He obviously hooked up his PS3 that he got for Christmas and put one of his Blu-ray discs in to see how clear it looks LOL. So I spent the whole night looking at the different video games on both the 360 and the PS3 and he had to show me how clear they looked and then I had to see a regular dvd to only put on a blu-ray one so I could see the difference. He is still excited about his t.v. and I'm totally over it LOL.

He worked the whole week except for New Year's Day, so we just hung out at the house with our dogs. It did snow again on New Year's Day, but I didn't take anymore pics. I figured I posted enough pics of the snow here LOL.

We did go out for one of Jerry's co-workers birthdays. We went to this restuarant called "Boi Gordo" and its a Brazilian steakhouse. The side dishes are served buffet style and the meat is cooked rotisserie style and brought right up to your table and they slice fresh pieces right on to your plate. It is all you can eat and they come by with several differnt kinds of meats and they keep coming until you feel like you're totally going to bust! Then for desert they bring this amazing rotisserie cooked pineapple. It is coated in cinnamon and sugar and then put in the rotisserie and cooked. It is so good. I love pineapple as it is but this was beyond amazing!! If you ever see a Brazilian steakhouse near you I would go in just for the pineapple!!

I again didn't take any pics of anything this week. I know I know slacker right?!?!?

We did go to an Italian mall as well. The stores are tiny, the clothes are expensive, and they are tiny! Jerry couldn't even fit into an Italian XXL if he wanted to and forget finding him shoes!!

It was good week and I'll try to take pics of something cool in the near future! I think we may try to go to Verona next weekend and I'll def take pics of that!
